The Lions Club Mission Statement
To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation. To help those who are less fortunate than us and provide whatever service and help that we are able to help.

Our Projects
Fox Lake Lions conduct a number of projects each year to raise money which is spent locally to help people. $2000.00 in scholarship money for further education is awarded each year to Grant Community High School graduates. Fox Lake Lions sponsor 2 campers to Camp Lions for a week, June 27 to July 3, 2011. The cost for each camper is $1050.00 with a $250.00 donation for supplies with a total of $1300.00 for each camper. Camp Lion is for youth with vision and hearing imparments to meet, make new friends and participate in fun, challenging activities.

Our Events
Fox Lake Lions continually work, themselves, to raise money for these causes. The yearly Flower Show is held at Grant Community High School .  The Mobile Hearing Unit will be at the Super Senior Day at Grant Township, May 6, 2011; Grant Township Senior Luncheon, July 21, 2011; and Fox Lake Chamber of Commerce Senior Fair, October 27, 2011. The annual Candy Drive will be on October 7 & 8, 2011. During the month of September the Diabetic/Macular Degeneration Mobil Unit will be in Fox Lake. More information will be posted when they become available.

If you want to meet good people, help the community, and have fun doing it, you are welcome to join the Fox Lake Lions Club. The club asks that you attend meetings regularly, help work on projects, and pay your dues. Our meeting are held at Lake Front Park, 71 Nippersink Blvd, Fox Lake, on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm.
